The UWF is one of the longest running eFederations around. With so much history and so many battles its hard to keep track of everything thats happened.

Much of the history of the company has been lost due to countless site moves and wars with opposing federations, however what we do know is this:

The company was founded by Matthew Maloni some time in late 1997/early 1998 and its first two contracted performers were Manimal and Harley Quinn. Both of these men were later inducted into the Hall of Fame.

We know that in the middle of 2001 the UWF became embroiled in a bitter war with the NWCWF a war which would eventualy be won by the UWF, but at the cost of much of its history being destroyed.

We know that at some point in 2006 Cameron Griffen became a prominent figurehead for the company and that he would eventually lose his controlling stock to Drew Hayden, starting another war with the 3WA in the process

In April of 2009, after a three month feud with then General Manager Edward Gaines, Tom Hart decided to take back, and reclaim as he saw fit. The rebirth of the uWf laid stone for a planned hostile take over of the WccW . Bringing back the most prestigious title in all of wrestling, the uWf World's Heavyweight Championship, and claiming it for The Revolution, Tom Hart sets out to unify all three Heavyweight Championships, thus securing the takeover, and possibly sealing WccW's fate forever...
